Paul Aiyong Seong is the Deputy Director of the Partnerships for Innovations Office at USAID/India. The office supports partnerships that identify, test, and scale Indian innovations and best practices, for widespread adoption by the government and the private sector. He leads USAID’s water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and innovation programs; and his portfolio includes education, disaster management, and financial inclusion. Prior to USAID/India, he served as a Contracting Officer at the USAID Regional Development Mission Asia (RDMA) in Bangkok, Thailand and at USAID/Washington. He holds a MSW from Columbia University, a BA from the University of Michigan and is pursing a PhD in sustainable development.
